Dr. Patrick Archie M.D. joins us to talk about his musical project, Stereognosis, which blends breakbeats with middle-eastern string instrumentation and hand drumming to create acoustic trance music. He also talks about cancer research and his recent article, "Music-based interventions in palliative cancer care".

Super conversation w Patrick Archie. I live close enough to have made it to Portland, but had other commitments. Would have loved to go. The album on his site is great though. Thanks for bringing his work to all our attention!
