World Psychedelic Forum this week

Any DoseNation readers headed to the World Psychedelic Forum in Basel, Switzerland? If so, drop us a line and let us know what you think. The line up of speakers and topics certainly looks promising.

Have a good time Cad-Merc, take notes and send us a full report.

As a side note; probably a lot of authorities there. Be careful.

Btw, how I'd love to go there!... (and also use the opportunity to climb the ski jumping hills in Langenbruck - I never waste such opportunities ;)) But the prices are just HORRIBLE. Who could pay it? I even wrote to Mr. Werthmueller asking him in a "naive little girl"'s tone why are the prices so high. He did response and I really didn't realise how much does the organisation costs. But still I have taken part in some conferences with very low or non-existant fees, why is there so much difference between "normal" conferences in literature, sociology or theatrology (or even a little conference on ibogaine in Warsaw - my only psychedelic conference so far) and this Controversial Topic?
Do you think fees could be substantially lower for lecturers? (I guess I'd better ask Mr. Werthmueller himself...) My dream is to present a talk at some large psychedelic conference about "what can gender studies offer to psychedelic research"...
