The FDA and DEA have little to no info on JWH exept that it gets you high, which means it's bad and morally offensive. I can't rap my head around the fact that alcohol and tabacco are still legal, it physically hurts trying to comprehend the ingorence and greed.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but everything pretty much "fucking sucks."
If a person wishes to maintain an optimistic attitude as an ethical or philosophical stance, I fully support that. But it you look at the empirical evidence, there are little data to support optimism in, well, just about any domain of human experience.
People point to the current softening of MJ laws as evidence that optimism is justified. Don't get me wrong, this softening is great--if definitively fucking not sucks--and it should bring joy to the hearts of all right-thinking people, users of MJ or not. But it's a rather small victory, which has come at the cost of, what now, 20 million arrests? Projecting this rate forward, I think we'll have to enlist extraterrestrial aid if we want broadly based drug-law reform, for we'll run out of people to arrest before we get very far.
Looked at as objectively as is possible for an embodied human being, the results of the survey are in: when it comes to drugs laws and trends, pretty much everything fucking sucks, and all evidence is that, on balance, it's going to get a lot worse.
