Bush's marijuana penalty: Go to Iraq instead of college
Here's a quick news item from Tom Angell, Government Relations Director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy:
Yesterday Rep. Henry Waxman's House oversight committee released records showing the Pentagon has been allowing more people with drug and other convictions to join the military to make up for recruitment shortfalls.
At the same time, the Bush administration and some in Congress support a policy that automatically strips college financial aid from students with drug convictions (including marijuana possession).
Why do these politicians think that young people with drug convictions aren't college material but are perfectly fit to go fight Bush's war in Iraq?
Our student group has put together a 2 1/2 minute video that exposes this "Drug War Draft."

Lets face it, people, America nad the world are fucked. World war is inevitable. Repression can only be total when the people are distracted by huge wars or fear for so-called terrorism.
The only terrorists at the moment are the corporate politicians and their masters. Muslems are being fed death to make them angry at Jews, so the middle east stability can be destroyed totally. Hard-drugs are flooding the markets. Psychedelics and spiritual growth are demonized. Consumerism is plugged allover the corprate-owned media. Nationalism is at its highest AND lowest in most western countries. Racism is peaking in the US. Eugenics are being seriously implied in the USA and beyond.
White man rules by dealing stink, filth and death. We live on the dumps of our 'progress' while knowledge is at its lowest; modern technology is no more than implying simple mathematics....
Yes, of course they want stoners to die in Iraq. They are theonly people still free enough to refuse or revolt.
