The reason there is even a tie between this soft drug and all the hard drugs is that you need to visit a dealer to purchase weed. A dealer is like a car salesman. He will persuade you to pay for the most expensive car on the lot. In this case, hard drugs are the gifts that keeps giving. Legalization tosses the gateway theory out the window.
Safety. Pot has NO correlation to lung cancer. The "cold like symptoms" after words are caused from inhaling smoke. If you have ever been to a bonfire before, you have done more damage to your longs than pot does. In terms of brain damage, the "tests" were subjects that were being suffocated for more than 5 minuets. Let me tell you shit for brains something. IF YOU DON'T BREATHE, THE FIRST THING THAT DAMAGED IS YOUR BRAIN. Now, I wonder how those monkey lost those braincells after not being able to breathe for several minuets... I KNOW! It was the POT! The only damage it causes are symptoms of mild schizophrenia after prolonged heavy use (essentially several joints a day over,everyday, after about 6 or 7 years during adolescent years). Yea, real fucking dangerous next to alcohol and cigarettes. Lets ban weed but, keep the leading cause of death in teenagers and the leading cause of death of Americans.
Productive use of marijuana and hemp. Hemp is the strongest, most flexible, and durable fiber known to the human race to date. It beats cotton in creating clothes, and it beats trees in creating paper. Some of the oldest documents this world has are made from fucking hemp. HEMP=/=POT. It is like comparing a chihuahua to a German Sheppard because they are in the same specie. Medicinal Marijuana has hundred of proactive uses. It actually prevents cancer more than causes it. This, however, would take a big chunk out of the pharmaceutical pay check. Marijuana can be grown in your own house. It can be used a cure all and a relaxant (similar to alcohol after a long day). It can't be patten because it is a plant. You spend less you dumb shits! Why not legalize it?

i agree compulsive behavior is an aspect of addiction but its not the outright definition of it, addiction has to do with chemical dependecy the mind and body developes...if you take a cannabis smoker, a porn addict, and a hardcore blogger "guy", and hypothetically lock them in a room where they have no access to their "vices"(vice is a matter of perspective), they will not develop any of the same withdraw syptoms as you see in alcoholics, heroin and cocaine addicts...i always thought this was common sense but, i guess the people who speak as if they lay in the middle of these debates still need to be educated, more so then the people who create these kind of anti-pot sites. the difference between the latter is they know how harmless cannabis is but they just want the rest of the world to follow theyre way of thinking...in the words of bill hicks....this isnt a war on drugs, its a war on personal freedom, keep that in mind at all times, thank you

Okay, the site's lame but as far as I can tell I don't see any outright bullshit. You can get addicted to weed just as you can get addicted to alcohol, or porn, or arguing on the Internet (mumble mumble). If a person is doing something compulsively and they can't stop themselves, that's addiction. Despite the giant no-pot logo most of the site gives tips to people who smoke pot and don't want to. It doesn't have any outright lies about how weed will make your dick fall off or anything.

...well, the page about legalization is pretty poor, but except for that most of it is pretty reasonable. It even advises parents NOT to kick their kids out of the house when they find them smoking weed.
